worth the read

It was a good story, though it reminded me of another book by a different author. It was just a case of similar plots. The stories are completely different, otherwise. It's worth the read though. I wish that some of the leads issues were resolved. They talk a lot about his mother in the book. I kind of wish that there had been some sort of confrontation between them, so he could resolve his feelings.
In any case it was worth the read. I'll have to check out the friends story when it's published to see if the author gives us anymore resolution with these characters. Probably won't though considering it's a romance. Though I am confused with the author names, it looks like half the series is under a different name.

I've read this plot before: College roommates, one a jock and the other a twink, one damaged and the other with an unpleasant past. Still, it was a sweet story. Things were going so well towards the end that I knew there had to be a conflict coming up. It was fairly painless.

Sweet, easy read

Sweet romance between two characters that show both strength and vulnerability. Nick's tough exterior hides his inner insecurities, and Jessie's fragile exterior - especially after an assault on campus -- contains a surprisingly confident, strong man. A good love story.
