I've been playing guitar casually for about a decade. I've got literally dozens of songbooks, DVDs, and on-demand video courses in my library, and this has jumped to #1. I've also been interested in learning Greek guitar for as long as I've been playing, so this is a godsend on multiple levels.

These are professional, advanced, authentic, and diverse Greek arrangements. No piece is watered down or simplified, and if you master any of these you can expect to blow any bystanders' minds. The pieces range from moderately simple to no-holds-barred advanced, so there is plenty in here for people of all skillsets.

Highly accurate tab and notes. You'll definitely benefit from counting as you play, so the detailed and accurate notation is a valuable necessity.
Teaching: 5/5
This book gives you access to video lessons on Hal Leonard's site. In each video, Fernando Perez plays through the song, gives a few minutes of instruction, and then plays through the song again at a slow pace with a close-up on each hand. I've been able to figure out every difficult passage by watching and rewatching sections of the video, so it's extremely useful. Trying to learn these exotic pieces without a visual guide would be very difficult, so I'm grateful that Perez went the extra mile.

Fast track to learn authentic Greek song forms.

Great start to learning the basic Greek styles of music. Each piece is performed then the lesson on each piece is extremely helpful. Am working on one dong at a time and enjoying the results after each practice session.
